Mariamne had choreographed Contemporary Dance for schools and Theatre, youth clubs and Theatre groups in the community (1990-94). Ceative Impulse. She trained school teachers for 'Dance in the National Curriculum' in the U.K, and Directed/Choreographed performances for two Youth Dance Theatre companies. In-between studies and teaching, she created One of a Kind Jewelry business Miami Nice - One of a Kind Jewelry and started practicing aromatherapy, creating a natural- chemical free cosmetic line.

A move back o the USA was inspired by meeting her birth mother and the exciting opportunity to apprentice in the teachings with Carlos Castaneda. After moving back to the USA in 1996, she continued to researh her interests in Aromatherapy and created a grass roots company called Nature's Essences, an Aromatherapy Cosmetic line in Los Angeles.

Mariamne took on an eight month Flower Essence Apprenticeship in 1996 in Venice California to become a therapist in Vibrational Medicine, using innovative dowsing techniques, flower essences and crystal elixirs.

Mariamne took quantum leaps in healing with Co-Creative Science, the ground breaking work of Machaelle Small Wright's MAP (Medical Assistance Programme). This co-creative work with Nature Intelligence & Devas took Mariamne and her work to a new innovative level, being the inspiration of her Shamanessence® Products line and evolution of her bodytwork practice.

Energy practices such as Pranic Healing, Life Energy, Healing Codes and Body Codes were a natural procession of self education and inspriration to the Shamanessence® umbrella.

Mariamne complemented her Healing practice by studying Pranic Healing (1997), META MEDICINE(2004) and furthering her research in Herbal Medicine, Nutrition and Crystal Therapy. She trained and voluteered for Heart Touch for two years (2005-07), a charity organization who offer gentle touch to the elderly, home bound, Hospice and dying children in hospitals.

In 1997 Mariamne became Joan Wulfsohn's assistant teacher at the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing (I.P.S.B ) in Los Angeles, teaching Cellular Recall Therapy and Human Energy Systems. She later became the teacher of Neuromuscular Re-Education at I.P.S.B, devising the courses, levels 1-3.

In 1998 Mariamne officially founded Shamanessence®, a small business that provides unique environmental products for alternative healing and well being.

Mariamne's initial move back to the USA was for two purposes. One was to get to know her birth mother, to join her in her apprentiship with Carlos Castaneda.

The name 'Shamanessence' was devised/created and gifted to Mariamne by Denis Mason during her period studying as an apprentice with Carlos Castaneda in Los Angeles and Mexico.

Magical Passes were brought to the west from an ancient lineage of sorcerers from Mexico. Tensigrity- the practice of Magical Passes, were a daily practice which she shared with Denis. The word 'Shamanessence' came through to Denis during his meditation when searching for a discription of Mariamne's work. Denis felt that this innovative newly created word Shamanessence contained an all encompassing description of Mariamne's essence and work.

Denis kindly gifted Shamanessence and suggested that Mariamne's products be named 'Shamanessence' (1998), and this there after Shamanessencebecame the umbrella of Mariamne's sharing/ teaching and healing practice.

Shamanessence® Products was conceived and co-created together with Nature Intelligence, using the synergy of Nature Intelligence, Aromatherapy and Flower Essence Therapy. The products were designed for private, professional, cosmetic and home use. These unique combinations of vibrational medicine with aromatherapy took flower essences therapies application and accesability to a new level, breaking many combinational 'rules' of certain essential oils. At the time, a leap of faith was in the calling in my own personal perception and creativity.

Mariamne's Healing Art's practice has been motivated with the desire to learn and share knowledge with people interested in self development / Soul evoluton using multi-dimensional approaches to Mind, Body and Spiritual health. She has taught Healing Movement and Bodywork classes/seminars and workshops in Holland, England, India, and U.S.A. Mariamne has been teaching Yoga, Pilate's, Dance and Deep Stretch in Holland, USA, Yoga Studio's and presently at Virgin Active in South Africa. She simultaneously runs a private practice of Structural Bodywork, Feldenkrais Method's Awareness Through Movement, Flower Essence Therapy and Energetic Medicine practices such as Healing Code, Emotion and Body Codes®.

Mariamne's work has been greatly inspired by Machelle Small Wright's work- Perelandra Nature Research processes, offering Microbial Balancing, Soiless Gardening, Gardening with Nature Intelligence and the Energetic Transmutation of Human's negative energic impact in our fields, land/Space and bodies of water.

Mariamne Wulfn works in Cape Town and Los Angeles. She travels to the UK, Chile and the USA once a year to practice, teach, and distribute Shamanessence® Products.
