Animal communications

Animals and animal companions can also benefit from the Healing Arts. They are actually easier to work with than humans, because unlike us, they don't let their minds interfere, there is less resistance and healing touch feels good to them. Where as humans-we may get fearful about change in our lives, and often become resistant to becoming whole again. Animals don't seem to have our problems of the 'mind' getting in the way.

Here at Shamanessence™, I offer animals healing, this is not a substitute for professional medical help, rather, I work as a complimentary therapist. I offer structural bodywork (Feldenkrais Method®) for physical problems, such as hip displacea, or any kind of spinal deformities, or just releasing stress for the ageing animal who may be taking on too much stress from his environment. If the animal is not in great pain, it will allow bodywork/massage into their experience. Animals, like children- are extremely sensitive. They are still very in tune with Nature, that's why they can sense an on coming storm before there are any visual signs of one to us.

Animals, like children, take on and absorb all of our negative emotions in the living space. They are natural healers, and being so sensitive, especially with the lack of exercise and packaged diet of the domestic animal- illness often can come in seemingly prematurely.

Diet is quite a big issue. It is convenient to buy pet food, but one may want to really investigate what your feeding your companion, and question, what would he or she eat if she were in the wild, for example. Advertising can be misleading. There may be many additives and vitamins from unclean sources 'added' to lots of grain and meat 'by products'. Can you answer what is really in your pet food?
I have known dogs to heal rapidly just from a raw food diet. So, look into diet and water quality to help your companion live a quality life.

The bodywork I offer, is as with humans, releasing unnecessary holding patterns from the nervous system, freeing up energy and well-being. Animals also respond very well to Flower Essences Therapy. I like to always include vibrational medicine in my practice.
Formulas can be made and put into their drinking water, or applied topically. If there are questions you would like to ask your companion animal, please write them down in a 'yes' 'no' answering format. I will communicate to your companion, and seek simple answers to help you understand their wishes. Remember, animals are uncomplicated. Keep questions simple and to the point, like one would with a child. Incases of death and dying, your companion animal seeks you to 'let go', so that he/she may move foward and through the death process, be it a natural death or help/assisted death with your vet. Flower Essences can be administered for your animal during the death process, as for your self.

Note: If an animal is distressed or in trauma, one needs to firstly provide them with Emergency Trauma Solution for animals (ETS for animals), or second best- Rescue Remedy.

If one cannot come close to the animal, (in the case of a wild animal) one can ask to be connected to Nature and request that Nature 'transfer' the essences from the palm of your hand to the animal in need. The leave them alone, don't touch them, and call for professional help if necessary.
